Booking & pickup
- How do I book a pickup with SKVO?
- Message SKVO on WhatsApp with a photo of the garment and a time that suits you. A person replies with the price and a pickup window. There is no app and no account to create.
- Which areas of Surat do you pick up from?
- SKVO collects and delivers across Surat, including Mota Varachha, Varachha, Katargam, Sarthana, Utran, Vesu, Piplod, City Light, Athwa, Ghod Dod Road, Adajan, Pal and Dumas Road. Nearby areas are usually possible too — just ask on WhatsApp.
- What happens at pickup?
- Our driver counts the pieces with you and photographs each garment before it leaves your hands. High-value pieces get a declared value recorded. You receive a tracking link on WhatsApp the same day.
- What are your hours?
- Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm. Pickups are scheduled to a window you choose; deliveries are confirmed on WhatsApp on the morning of.
Pricing & payment
- How much does dry cleaning cost at SKVO in Surat?
- Indicative prices: a two-piece suit is ₹499, a silk saree ₹599, premium sneaker restoration ₹799 per pair, a leather handbag spa from ₹1,499, and curtains from ₹299 per panel. Wedding and couture pieces are quoted after inspection. All prices include GST.
- How much does it cost to clean a lehenga or wedding outfit?
- Every couture piece is different, so SKVO quotes after inspecting it — send a photo on WhatsApp and you get a firm price before pickup. Turnaround is 7–10 days.
- How do I pay?
- At delivery, by UPI or cash. The itemised receipt at intake matches the quote you were given. Business accounts are invoiced monthly.
- Is GST included in your prices?
- Yes. Every price on the site and every quote includes GST, and the breakdown is shown on your invoice.
Process & guarantee
- How long does it take?
- Most garments are back in 3–5 days. Sneakers take 3–4 days, leather bags 5–7 days, and wedding or couture pieces 7–10 days. Express 24-hour service is available on most everyday pieces.
- What is the SKVO guarantee?
- Every garment is photographed at pickup, so its condition is documented before we begin. If a garment is damaged or lost in our care, we tell you first and make it right: professional repair where possible, otherwise compensation up to the value declared at intake. The guarantee is backed by garment insurance and a damage reserve.
- What if a stain cannot be removed?
- We tell you before the garment comes back, never after. Some set dyes and oxidised stains cannot be lifted safely, and we will always choose the garment over the stain.
- Do you use perchloroethylene (perc)?
- No. SKVO’s solvent line uses a modern hydrocarbon or silicone-based process, which is gentler on fibres, dyes and the people who work with it. Wet-cleaning and hand-washing cover what solvent should not touch.
- Can I track my order?
- Yes. After pickup you receive a tracking link on WhatsApp showing each garment’s current stage and its intake photographs. No app or login is needed.

- What does SKVO clean?
- Six specialties: wedding & couture, designer wear, sneakers & streetwear, bags & leather, sarees & heirloom, home fabrics. In practice that means lehengas, gowns and sherwanis; designer silk and tailoring; leather, suede and knit sneakers; handbags and leather jackets; Banarasi, Kanjeevaram and heirloom sarees; and curtains and upholstery.
- Can you clean a lehenga with heavy stonework or zari?
- Yes. Embellished pieces are cleaned by hand or in a protected specialist cycle, with the work shielded from heat and abrasion, and every stone checked against the intake photographs at quality control.
- Do you clean sneakers?
- Yes — by material, by hand. Leather is conditioned, suede and nubuck are dry-brushed, knit uppers are gently wet-cleaned, midsoles de-yellowed where safe, and pairs are dried in shape. From ₹799 per pair.
- Do you offer storage for wedding outfits?
- Yes. Cleaned couture is packed in breathable cotton garment bags with acid-free tissue and can be stored with us. Ask about storage when you book.
