Our standard

What happens to your garment, in the order it happens.

This page is long on purpose. If you are about to hand over a wedding outfit, you should be able to read exactly how it will be handled — and what we owe you if we get it wrong.

Principles

Four rules every person in the atelier is trained on.

  • Protect the garment above all

When in doubt, we stop and ask. We never experiment on a customer’s piece.

  • Document everything

Every garment is inspected, photographed and tagged at intake. No exceptions. It is the backbone of the guarantee.

  • Quality is a hard gate

Nothing reaches you without passing inspection. A “probably fine” goes back for rework, not into a bag.

  • Test before we treat

Every stain treatment and every risky process is tried on a hidden area first.

The journey

Nine steps, one record.

Each step is a state on the garment’s tag, logged with a time and a name. That trail is what your tracking link shows — and what we review if anything is ever in question.

    Pickup

We count the pieces with you, photograph each one and note anything high-value with a declared value. You receive your tracking link the same day.

  2. 02

    Intake & inspection

Back at the atelier each garment is examined alone: fabric, care label, dye stability, embellishments, existing wear. Close-ups are added to its record.

  3. 03

    Sorting & tagging

A heat-resistant tag that survives cleaning goes on every piece. Garments are grouped by process, fabric, colour and risk — never mixed carelessly.

  4. 04

    Spotting

Stains are identified and treated by a trained spotter, tested first on a seam. If removing a stain would risk the garment, we ask you before we go further.

  5. 05

    Cleaning

Solvent, controlled wet-clean or hand wash — chosen for the garment, not the batch. Machines are never overloaded.

  6. 06

    Finishing

Steam or press at the right temperature for the fabric. Embellished and structured pieces are finished by hand.

  7. 07

    Quality check

Under the brightest light in the building, against the intake record: stains, finish, embellishments, seams, lining. Pass, rework or flag.

  8. 08

    Packaging

Breathable bags for couture, tissue and boxes for delicates. Presentation is part of the care.

  9. 09

    Delivery

Confirmed on WhatsApp, handed over with your inspection, paid at the door by UPI or cash.

Methods

Gentle by design.

Our solvent line uses a modern hydrocarbon or silicone-based process rather than perchloroethylene — kinder to fibres, dyes and the people who work with it. Wet-cleaning and hand-washing cover what solvent should not touch. Exact chemistry is set by our trained specialist and the fabric, never by a default programme.

During our first months, some couture and high-risk work is processed by a vetted partner atelier under our brand and our quality check. It comes back through the same inspection as everything else. You are told when this applies.

The guarantee, in full

Handled, documented, and guaranteed.

A guarantee is only worth what stands behind it. Here is what stands behind ours.

01
Condition documented at pickup
Photographs of every garment before we begin, with close-ups of existing wear. If a mark was already there, the record shows it; if it was not, the record shows that too.
02
Declared value
For high-value pieces we record a declared value with you at intake. It sets the ceiling of the remedy, so there is no negotiation after the fact.
03
The remedy
If a garment is damaged or lost in our care, we tell you first — before you find out — and make it right: professional repair where possible, otherwise compensation up to the declared value.
04
What stands behind it
Garment insurance and a dedicated damage reserve. The guarantee is funded, not just written.
05
What we will tell you before return
Any stain we could not remove safely, any risk we chose not to take, and anything we needed your consent for. You never discover a limitation on your own.

The people

Trained, signed off, accountable.

No one works a station alone until our operator has trained and signed them off on it. Spotting and finishing are done by an experienced specialist, not a helper. Every state change on a garment carries the name of the person who made it.

Our team’s backgrounds will appear here before we open.
