Specialist clean before storage
Every piece is cleaned and inspected first. Storing anything unwashed is how yellowing starts.
Acid-free tissue and breathable cotton
Folded with tissue between layers, in cotton bags or boxes. Never plastic.
Moth-proofing
Woollens, silks and shawls are treated and checked. Included for stored pieces.
Photographed and tagged
Condition recorded at intake, one tag per piece, tracked like any order.
Refolded, not forgotten
Heavy pieces are refolded along different lines so no crease becomes permanent.
Pressed and delivered on request

What does garment storage cost?
Storage is quoted per piece per month after we see what it is — a folded silk saree and a full bridal lehenga take very different space and care. Cleaning before storage is charged at the normal rate; moth-proofing is included for stored pieces. Send photos for a firm quote.
Is my garment insured while in storage?
Yes. Stored pieces are covered by the same guarantee as every order: condition documented at intake, a declared value recorded with you, and repair or compensation up to that value if anything goes wrong in our care.
How quickly can I get a stored piece back?
Two working days is comfortable; same-day is often possible for pieces that only need a steam. Tell us the date you need it and we press and deliver ahead of it.
How long can you store a garment?
Month to month, for as long as you like. Many families store wedding and festival pieces from one season to the next and take them out only for the occasion.
Do you store garments you did not clean?
We clean every piece before it goes into storage, because storing a garment with invisible sweat or oil on it is what causes yellowing and mildew. If it has just been cleaned elsewhere we inspect it and store it as is when it is genuinely clean.
